our values
We desire to maximize the likelihood that students (whether children or adults) have music as a part of their lives forever! Whether they go on to become world-famous artists or simply play for their family at home, we believe that music is a crucial and transformative form of self-expression. We take pride in fostering a warm, community-centered environment because we know that students thrive when they feel comfortable.
We believe that everyone without exception is deeply and proufoundly musical. Our goal is to foster that intrinsic ability in a fun and engaging way! You will see that we do not hold to the rigid formality traditional schools create and opt for a more relaxed, enjoyable experience with music education. Each of our teachers work diligently to meet the unique individual needs of students and personalize lessons for maximum engagement.
We would love to meet you! Please contact us to set up a time to come in, we are unable to accommodate walk in’s at this time. Thank you!

What our community says
Highly energetic, enthusiastic and patient. Kids love it!
My son is 8 years old and is already playing a few songs on the piano after only a few weeks since starting his first piano lessons ever in his life. This system is a phenomenal way to get immersed in music, and then, from that place of loving it, learn the theory more in depth. What I truly appreciate about Moreen is her kindness towards Ezra, her ability to meet him where he is at, for he is 8 after all, and her ability to inspire him, to refocus him, to gently push him towards the blossoming of his talents. Thank you Moreen for all that you do and the ways in which you lift Ezra up through Music to be the best he can be.
My 4 year old absolutely loves the [Music Rhapsody Preschool] program as it engages her through the interactive exercises and use of all the great toys and props!
Stouffville Music Room is a great place for kids to learn a new musical instrument! The classes are well paced and non-competitive. A very caring environment and supportive. We highly recommend them!
Love this place. My son is super comfortable here and his teacher, Kaitlyn is really lovely. The owner Moreen is kind, warm and welcoming. As a family, we support local businesses as much as possible. I couldn’t be happier this place is in our town and if you’re looking for a safe place for your kiddos to learn about music, don’t hesitate to try this out. Thanks again!
I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with Stouffville Music Room and Moreen’s piano lessons. My children are loving their lessons, learning so much and they look forward to attending weekly. Even while we had to do virtual lessons my children loved it and got so much out of it. Progress carried on. Obviously they love being in the studio with Moreen more, but she made it work. We even had a Zoomcital! Amazing effort, communication and dedication. I highly encourage you to register. You won’t regret it.
